Dean forest Railway 1940s weekend 24-25 September 2011

It looks like i might have the chance of resurecting the old show back to life for 2011 .
I need to no if you guys are still up for it as it was a good event .
Dates to be confirmed

UNFORTUNATLY THERE IS NO RE-ENACTMENT BATTLE
For those who remember space is limited as its not a huge arear .

It will be strictly 1940s with no mvt landrovers

There will be no battle as the head commitee of the railway had a few problems with the last 1940's show there but im hoping this will change for 2012

I will try and confirm the dates within a week or two

It will be the same scenario as before but hopefully move the re-enactors on to the grassed area and leave the car park to the public .

Like i said this will be a 1940's event with period vehicles only , i dont want to fill the car park with post war vehicles like before , i would like to see quality not quantity .

Hi Everyone

The event is nearly opon us so anyone wishing to come along please do . There is a good mixture of German , British and American groups book in for this plus plenty of vehicle's .

The 2nd Glosters are doing the bar with there display so plenty on tap .

Great way to end the season
