along with the hats i ordered a flannel undershirt from milpro, a nice alternative to wearing a modern one, german one or an original etc....

detail (very comfy!)
a bit disturbing this, might just be me but i've just noticed all the repro re enactment stuff has disappeared off the Milpro website http://www.milpro.fi/index.cfm?action=sivu&sivu=123 it was under Pukumyynti i think. hope its just a glitch!

Re: Milpro undershirt
I will contact them and see if they can do me a cap and the shirts look fine too (I might try and get some braces). They do trousers, but only have small sizes in so I may go for one of Antz's m37 trousers. Milpro web site looks like its having an update - I could never find the summer tunics etc on their site (still pleased as punch with the one they sent. Now I've removed the collar tabs no-one knows what it is and it looks v much like a safari jacket!)
Now for some more overtime to pay for all of this....

Milpro-shirts are expensive and sometimes quite torn and poor quality. You can find flanellipaita quite easily in Finland, as they still make them. I just bought one fine shirt myself too, for just 10 euros.

Re: Milpro undershirt
One place to get these shirts is a shop called Jalavan kauppa (http://www.jalavankauppa.net/). They have shirts for 25 euros (http://www.jalavankauppa.net/index_tied ... ge3168.htm) and Made in Finland -shirts for 60 euros (http://www.jalavankauppa.net/index_tied ... ge1969.htm). Seems Milpro has at one point sold the same cheaper shirts, but atleast last time I went there they didn't sell any, except originals.
They also sell good suspenders for 22 euros (http://www.jalavankauppa.net/index_tied ... ge2700.htm) and a good pullover for 85 euros (http://www.jalavankauppa.net/index_tied ... ge3585.htm).

Re: Milpro undershirt
thanks for posting the link, it looks an excellent shop! the milpro one i have is still in one piece (for now) and it was cheap
if you have any other links that may be useful please feel free to post them.
Do you have any sources for your winter hats (Turkislakki m/39) are they original or repro, postwar? i'd really like to get one in a size 58 if possible!
all the best,
rich

Re: Milpro undershirt
We have bought our fur hats from Milpro also, I think they are made post war but the model is the same as in WW2. If I remember correctly, Milpro sold these for 15 euros.

Re: Milpro undershirt
I have two furhats, one stolen from the army when I was there (honor guards still use these), other bought from Milpro. They are post war, but look exactly the same on the outside. Lining inside is different than war time ones though.
