Jack wrote:I doubt very much the new ATF dot 44 is czech, the "old" czech stuff was very different and the dots not as defined and quite "fluffy" and also the trousers where cut straight leg and not the correct keilhose style.

I think the best one at the moment is the smw print although i do find that he's cut the tunics wrong, they're too long and tight fitting on the shoulders.
I'm with Jack. ATF's stuff is ATF's stuff, not a European manufacture. I've seen the stuff in person, and it doesn't look like anything I've seen before, not SMW, not Chen, not Czech.

Jack I also agree with you on the cut. The length on mine is fine, but they are very tight across the shoulders.

Well well! It would appear that Luger08 IS full of it. I had to pop home to pick up a delivery and the ATF tunic was there. Made in China. He shared his knowledge and it turned out to be rubbish, thanks for the B/S Luger08.
I dont know your association to Panther but because of your lies I wont be ordering from them now.

Ok, so I am now a little confused (not difficult when it comes to German kit).

Who produces the most accurate dot material?

Who produces the most accurate uniform pattern?

I think youd be still hard pushed to beat the SM Wholesale stuff. Its been around for a while, UK suppliers have stocked it in the past and when you see guys wearing it it looks the business. The Panther stuff looks very nice but the cost of bank charges will prohibit buying from the UK. I was going to order a smock and cap but when I phoned my bank it would have cost £30 to them, then a further £30-40 by another bank that acts as a middle man. Hopefully they will sort out Paypal.

As kit kat has already said the best one is the sm wholesale print (even better than the once perfect janke copy) and for uk re-enacters bought from sof for 200gbp a set, dont bother with the others as they dont come close

I dont know as I'm 180 miles away from the tunic and for the next ten weeks that distance just gets bigger.
