Black Flag: The Surrender of Germany's U-Boat Forces on Land

Above title by Lawrence Patterson due out on 21/8/09.
The end game for the Kriegsmarine as it ceased to be and the surviving U-Boats and surface craft were handed over to the Allied powers.

I have pre ordered a copy via Amazon , hopefully some coverage of the movement of the submarines to Lough Foyle and Loch Ryan will be included.

L.P. has yet to produce a substandard work and I don't doubt that this one will be an equal to that which he has overseen.

Below , two boats one surrendering under the black flag , the second en route to one of the two assembly ports.

Delivered today - attached the contents page and rear dust cover.
This one can't wait and will be read at once.

LP includes in the Deadlight Section a complete description of the movements of boats , it is well illustrated and covered , this has much local interest for me.
