Maybe this topic has been on here already!
But Im very intressted in the Swedish Volunteers in ww2 both in the Waffen SS and the Finnish Winter war,
My question is what was the basic Unifrom for the Swedish Volunteer Corps in Finland ?
I have seen some awards and even trhe flag the Swedish volunteer Corps used, but I wish to know more about the unifroms!

Moi sir I think it was the standard Finnish uniform I will try and get our Finnish expert to reply

During the winter war the swedes were outfitted with the newest swedish gear and weapons available, which were financed by private donations and purchased from the army.
During the continuation war the majority of volunteers fought in finnish uniforms, though ive heard of some die hard officers who had brought their swedish kit with them.
