Photoshoot early 1945

Post by jan »

Hi all !

Last weekend two Belgian groups did a private tactical event with bivak and photoshoot, a unique occasion because in the near future the site will be rebuild. Here are the photo's of the German participation, early 1945 style.
I hope you enjoy them !

Frank,

Yes the site will be complete rebuild, this was the last time that is was possible to organise something there, it is in fact after this weekend already closed for all visitors.

The event was lokated in the ruins of an old factory.
It was a perfect event (reunion).
Like all the people (shown on the 6th photo) actualy slept there in that room.
And just with a blanket on the hard and cold concrete.
(the 2nd and 3rd night we had found some pine tree branches to sleep on)
That was mutch more confortable!
With only 1 blanket, a zeltbahn and a coat, it were cold nights!

Here some more pic's:

I always use zelt and blanket to sleep I always lie the greatcoat on the ground and sleep under the blanket ( I was told that way by a SSvet)

Haha, I'm glad to hear it!!
Lots of college re-enactors prefer comfort above historical correction...

We (try to) do our best to do it as correct possible!
