Thank you again for your extra comments. Actually the main purpose is not to be “the best” or “the mutt's nuts”, even if I really appreciate such comments of course . As for me, what it has been done with Project Edelweiss is the simple expression of what is Gebirgsjäger Reenactment, far from the barbecue events or other "living room history" photos. Some people could call it "hard-core reenactment", however I think such approach is only a question of true respect for the worn uniform.

I’ve been testing since the end of June the different optional routes for 2013. I can already promise the PE2013 team will have to face serious challenges.

Fantastic, just a fantastic achievement. This is EXACTLY what I am looking to become involved with. I am so disappointed to have missed this event, and I would love to take part in 2013. I love the pictures, for those of us who love the Werhmacht Alpenkorps re-enacting, and not just the dress side but the climbing side... superb.
