If the impression isn't HG, waffenfarbe should be pink for armoured unit.

FJ with a stug. That means a armoured unit so should be wearing pink. A few may have ignored the regulations, I've seen pics of HG still wearing their white piping when they were meant to have changed it after 1943.

No jaws, depends on the type of stug, could be artillery.

Lose the peaked cap - get a side cap or an einheitsfeldmutze 43 as they peaked cap was impractical inside an AFV

Fasten another button on the jacket

Lose the cufftitle - Unlikely they parachuted StuGs into Kreta.

Get either normal litzen in pink or red with Skulls on.

Stick an EKII ribbon on it and possibly a Panzerkampfabzeichen in Bronze. don't over egg the pudding and it will look great.

this is where ive got some of my reference from. The reason ive got the cuff title is because the FJ guys transfered into stug units later on. Should have said im going to a sort of garrison/walking out dress not combat gear hence the hat :)

Waffenfarbe ist gelb,gelb,gelb! :D

I know **** all about most things but Im on the money here! Good impression, the adler should have a feld grau backing not luft blau! The are hard to find but GD43 will provide them. Highly recommended for headwear as well, M43 feldgrau with Luftwaffe Adler.

Also an option:

- With normal (yellow) Kragenspiegeln and Tresse

- The hoheitsabzeichen with blue background is not wrong, but if you want one with grey background -> http://www.panzerknacker.nl/German_insignia.html (Luftwaffe feld division and Herman Göring chest eagle on field grey wool backing) Very nice reproductions!

- Best is to use subdued Luftwaffe Tresse related to the late-war impression

- Use blue or black 'Urea' buttons (bakelite)

Cheers!
