Re: Photo's of the year 2011
Is it bad form to suggest one of your own?

Name of the Group - Propagandakompanie 691 (Does not exist yet but watch this space)
Photographer - Mark Bott
Where it was taken - Victory show
Why you like it so much - The atmosphere of the shot and the fact that it was produced there and then just like 70 years ago

Be a pessimist and never be disappointed.

Another fantastic image. As are some of the others from your Victory Show photos. Particularly liked the one with the haystack on fire and two Soldats walking towards the camera. Period cameras capture smoke and fire in a very unique way!

Thanks guys for kind words about us , we try not to fail you .
From all the photo sessions that we made last year , whis one picture is my favourite.
Name of the Group - Die Freiwilligen
Photographer - Maksym Kohyt
Where it was taken - folk museum in Wdzydze ( Poland )
Why you like it so much - I miss only the burning hut in the background .
And if i could vote for other photo , i like the most this one posted by Jonny from "Unternehmen Herbstnebel" iv been there during taking that photo, atmosphere and the emotions were overwhelming.

Taken at our very first event of the year COAM, which strangely seems such a long time ago already
I like this shot for it's simplicity.

Here's my favourite, taken by myself.
Group: GD Aufklarungs
Photographer: Martin Pike
Taken at: Whittington Barracks
Why I like it: Just one of those pictures, taken near the end of a photoshoot when we did a bit of a wounded soldier series. I remember Steve (man running towards the camera) coming towards me and after he'd passed, I looked back in my camera and went "wow, that looks brilliant, the smoke has fallen right and it looks ace" and that's why I like it.

-Event: LPLG
-Photographer: unknown
-Theme "mediterranean": They did an impression of an old Italian couple that lost there home through bombardments, this was all they had left...
