Photo's of the year 2011
Morning all, as the season is over (unless you are really hardcore) it's probably a safe time to start this thread
As it says in the title and as many of you will know from previous years, this is your chance to big up the pictures that have inspired you this year. I'm not talking about the ones that have been taken at arms length with the camera on a mobile phone at the bottom of the garden that are an insult to our intelligence or a load of weapons on a Zeltbahn on a flat grass field.
I'm talking about the ones that have made you shake your head and smile in absolute admiration for the picture that your fellow re-enactment groups or indeed your own group have created this year. The one that you wanted to study for longer than a fleeting glance, use as your desktop wallpaper or inspired you to make the plunge and start re-enacting yourself.
So, post away and lets celebrate our ever improving photographic output from the past season.
Please list (if you know it)

Look forward to seeing them as ever...

Why you like it so much - Because the image is simple. Nothing flash, a representation of the typical front line soldier tired with war.

Re: Photo's of the year 2011
I'd really have to vote for this:
-Re-enactment group: Etulinja
-Photographer: I don't know who took the pic... I was sick in bed during this event : (
-Photo was taken Southern Finland
And why I love it? C'mon! The scenery, outfit, period hairstyle, Suomi-konepistooli, etc...

last picture, keep the muzzle of your rifle out of the snow, I find it very hard to aim if the snow is blocking my sight
