Nice selection of personal items there Pipes, I did 101st AB for 8 years and never got such a complete set of items for my pack impression. Very nice. One thing though (sorry) replace the wool nit gloves with the US leather palmed type with the OD wool backs. The cricifix is also a nice touch.

Yes i was going to get some leather palmed types but already got the tan Para ones, thought it would be
overkill lol, although these OD wool types apparantly were bought privately from the camp shops like some
other personal items, unfortunately some of the smaller things are unclear, here is (hopefully) a clearer pic,
my main impression is still being sorted, am still waiting for replacement gear

Hi....
Looked.... gone away.... looked again....
Just realised what I find odd…..
Your belt… how high is it? on your lower ribcage…
Lengthen your suspenders….
Maybe that’s why your jacket looks long and odd….
See never right is it

Hi Mairtin
Havent got the drum mag, just got 8 20rd stick mags,
tbh i dont think the Paras carried them as they were too
heavy/cumbersome, plus i havent seen any being used
on pics???, think they were used by the Yanks in the
eary part of the War then i think the Brits used them later
then finally the Home Guard??
