just thought I'd put up some of my drawings - nyone wishing to contact me regarding my artwork is welcome. I don't just do military art, i do pets, personal portraits etc

Thank you Sam, I need to practice more on faces. You seem to have a very nice quality as in letting grays flow over into each other.

Thanks Erik! What I do is shade in the darkest areas that require a black, dark pencil. Then I go and do the next darkest in shade and then blend where the colours meet. It works 9/ 10.

Nice drawings Erik & Sam - they do have that drawn on the battlefield look about them, which I like. Little tip for you -try to workout your darkest areas first and down shade from those - remember with pencil we can always go back a re-shade or take away. I use a B2 to fully shade when I start and can go as dark as B8 for the black. Use the H pecncil for fine detail the darken accordingly.

Thanks Eric - I teach art part time at a Secondry School and it's great to see the kids pick up the pencil and use it the way they do. Gives me as much satisfaction as doing a drawing myself.
