History
The Swedish Government for a short while allowed the Germans to transport sick and wounded and those on leave from Norway back to Denmark and Germany. This caused considerable disquiet accross the country (especially when it became public knowledge that on the return trips to Norway the trains carried fresh troops and supplies - including weapons and ammunition.) The Government, bowing to public pressure eventually disallowed the transport of German forces through Sweden by 1943.

In addition to the "main attraction" of the German train being guarded by the Swedish troops, there were also small displays by Soviet, British and US sections of the two associations who were the main participants of the event.
All in all, a really enjoyable event that saw a number of groups working together to do something very different, which had historical significance.
