@CBD schimdt: the one with "no source" seems to me more like the BTG "Nembo" attached to 4.FJ-Div, than the HG, given all those italian smock (I guess, Italian jump smock slightly modified)

As far as i know Tom some H-G members removed their white tabs after Monte-Cassino due
to being accused of pillaging the Monastery, because of this some white tab wearers would
be shot on sight by Partisans?, just sharing a bit of info i came across once from some old

Its wrong! Late war HG removed thier(or supposed to have) white collar tabs across the board by a general order in 1944, the exact date alludes me as I havnt got my books to hand. I think the main reason they were removed was due to thier conspicuous nature.

Hey Stadler,

Very nice one, didn't find that photo yet.
It must be HG, you can see it on the "clock" sign on the front of the hood of the vehicle.
