Here are som pics on the partisans from the last weekends event in Sweden. Pics on the germans will come later. The scenario was Croatia 1943 and we walked and walked and walked during 36 hour nonstop reenactment...

On Friday evening and night it was about 20 degrees and very moisty from all rain. On saturday and Sunday it was perfect weather.

....that movie was the biggest piece of hollywood crap since inglorious basterds.
Prinz Eugen throws back every attack made by experienced partisans in the Balkans with nothing but old captured French tanks in some cases, and in that movie, Stukas and Panzer IIIs cant disperse a bunch of farmers with Mosins and MP40s.

there's a point where you have to call bullshit

then there his rambo brother comes back just in time and mows down a heavy MG34 team and singlehandedly takes out a German tank with infantry support.

More important, it didn't showed the many warcrimes that the Bielski partisans commited.
