Great photos indeed. I especially like this blue-spotted scarfs - they look really great! However, the Landser on the right in this picture:

How clean and well pressed they all look, no dirt, no scuffs, rips, tears, bright faces, clean finger nails, umm,
before anyone starts carping, I always looked like I'd slept in a ditch for a week, which a lot of them did, I used to get ribbed for looking that way, I thought it was more authentic, judging from films and photos of that era. just my thoughts, good luck to them.

Come on, everyone knows you were far too busy laughing your tits off at poking horses starfish with the mucking out broom, and daring eachother to eat horse nuggets.

Here some pics from a famous Italian reenactment event called "Un tuffo nella Storia 2010" (delve into History), at Passo del Giogo in Scarperia, province of Firenze... GOTHIC LINE.
German section of PROGETTO900 in this event as Luftwaffe Fallschirmjäger.

You have some nice equipment! Like the donkeys!
Seriously though, do you find a lot of your gear from what was left behind at the end of WW2... as you can guess, I may be planning a holiday in Italy this year
