Great photo scharfrudi, which came first.......the all in brawl or the relaxed look?

Ah - the chicken or the egg

The relaxed photo is in front of my group during a lull in a 3 day war over hilly wooded terrain.

The brawl is at the 2 day Abbey Tournament, this year we had 26,000+ visitors I believe.

The numbers were 27,043 I believe........Great numbers, well done on attracting such a large crowd year after year and keeping re-enactng to the fore.

They are original wool trousers

The reason I ask is the 29th infantry are the only infantry unit I have seen who wore helmet scrim, and that was a small minority.

I had a lot of people pointing stuff out when i showed my very first unveiling of my US Airborne
portrayment, you get used to it on here lol, everything has to be spot on here, there's no room for
error when you post pics on this forum, i learnt that the hard way lol

one thing similar to
what i did was you are wearing a post War chinstrap by the look of things, i changed mine for a
repro tan one.

Also you are wearing a Colt 1911 mag pouch, O/R's didn't wear pistols?, these are some
pointers that were told me, dont be discouraged we all have to start somewhere, especially
when doing a different portrayment for the first time like i did when trying something new, you
sort out the glitches and move on, good luck anyway

seen in alot of units-infantry and armoured
the size of the ehlmet net can be specific to unit though
