I've got both - these DAK lowboots and the high ones. Both are manufactured by Joky, who - if I'm not badly mistaken - used to provide them to Zeugmeisterei before Thomas Raeder's unaccountable disappearance. I can swear on their quality and historical correctness and I am still convinced they are the best DAK footwear available anywhere today. And yes, I also have the SMW ones sold in the UK by SoF - both ankle and high ones - and I can confirm there's no comparison with these, which are superior in every respect.

How widespread were the LW desert boots? I suppose the LW also used the olive green ones?
