info on tools suitable for an armourer

Post by johankreig »

Myself and a freind have been given the roles of unit armourers within my group, me because I know a fair bit about the toys and my mate cos he is a blacksmith and is good at making/fixing things, as such I am wanting to get a collection of tools together for this impression, however I am not sure what kind of tools I need, any advice on this would be much apreciated, I would like to get german ones, but suspect they may well be out my price range, so will probably try and find british equivalents.

First you need to start calling yourself a waffenmeister

then you need to get hold of the waffenmeisters (small) toolkit (the one that sits inside the ammo tin )

(happy hunting for all the tools )

then you should obtain/fabricate the waffenmeisters spare parts boxes ...

for the MG Image

and the MP Image

That would be a good place to start

our group waffenmeister has an ammo tin kit , the MG spare parts box image I borrowed from the web , the MP spare parts box I made (not finished )

£1500/£2000 for the ammo can tool kit.
No, I dont think the MG3 kit is the same.
Simon from GD Aufklärung does a very good waffenmeister impression, as I'm sure so does Kev.
