pioneer / engineer jig saw carrier
I am wondering if there is a dealer which offers a good repro of the pioneer jig saw carrier?
Re: pioneer / engineer jig saw carrier
Is the carrier plain leather or is there a metal throat liner in it?
If all leather then all you'd need to do is pass the photos and sizes/measurements to a leatherworker/saddler and have one made.
The majority of repro kit is maybe more mainstream & therefore made by the far eastern factories, pioneer kit may be to specialist (for now) for most of them

The problem is that it is not only leather - it has also metal parts.

You are right - most suppliers make "mainstream" equipment - but Eastern Eurorean manufacturers sometimes also make "special" parts like mine flag- or grenade launcher-carriers - so my hope was that maybe there is one who makes the saw carrier...
I am not that bad in leather works - I think I will try to do it myself.
But thanks for your help!

Metal parts look like flat inserts near the top to maintain the pouch shape.Fritz wrote:The problem is that it is not only leather - it has also metal parts.

Interesting item though - good luck making your own. Use a pricking iron to keep the sewing neat.
