I know, and we agree in this point – I said ATF makes good repros, but they are far too expensive.

I am a collector AND reenactor. And I did not criticise any reenactors – I stated that I do not like the repro stuff. If other reenactors are satisfied with repros that is OK for me… “suum quique”!

I hope ATF goes forward with the Luftwaffe gear. All the Luftwaffe repros out there are so blue it hurts my eyes! It would be nice if they examined a real piece to realize the color is grey blue not the bright blue that tend to make. I have numerous original Luftwaffe pieces of field gear and although there are some variations of color (like all cloth gear) the color is more grey then blue. I hope some other vendors will make proper Luft gear in the future.
