Won't be using them in the UK if that's what your asking, I live in switzerland but have a place in the EU I can ship the guns to.

Looking for WWII guns in general. But mostly for a blank fire MP-40.

I think he is looking for guns to buy not use in the UK.

On a side note do you want PFC or standard BF guns, as BF mp 40s rarely come up for sale and when they do there bloody expensive, last one i saw was around 2k, could buy a car for the same price.

Also what are your rules on automatic weapons in switzerland as this may also impede you choice of purchases, u will also struggle to get an Mp44 as the only company that made them has stopped production ad there like gold plated monkey poo, seen one and there nice but there prices have gone up alot.

May be worth contacting some of the Paras in the NWW2A, they get alot of there guns from a lady known as Wendy, I dont have any details on her but she makes good BF guns and has made some interesting ones in the past including an FG42, her mp3008 are very popular

Hi Graham

That's a very kind offer, many thanks :) but so far I'm still going with my Pilot impression and bringing my SS sniper impression as well for the battle. But I'll have an original K-98 for that. But in order to promote the GJ I might scratch the Luftwaffe pilot and come as a GJ officer but for that I believe I'll only carry my Walther-38. Can one bring an original pistol there or should I just get a denix holster filler?

I'm looking for MP-40s, or 38s for the movie I'm making. Full metal non firing are easy to get but I'll need at least 2 blank firers.

Eventually a MG-42 but a MG-3 will be used that I can get ahold of.

Yes, buying is the game...or perhaps rent/borrow. PFC could work, but really going for BF. 2000 is aceeptable, a car here (used and old) would go for 4000 :p (expensive country)

Automatic BFs are no problem here in Switzerland, at the moment the gun laws are pretty lax still and you can buy a STG-57 that has been welded to semi fire only but with a pair of clippers and file you can restore it to full auto...and these go for around CHF 150 (£100) each in excellent condition. But WWII guns (besides Swiss) are almost non existant here as there little interest.

STG-44 will be used in the film, but not fired, only a few clips with it and mostly in the background so I can get a nice metal non firing copy for that.

Not looking so hard for the MG, already know where I can get a working MG3. Just the MP-40s and possibly a PPSH-41 are the real challenge.

as far as i know UK under section 7 fire arms act, live pistols are forbidden in the uk unless stored at such places as BISLEY. again if you want a bf p38 for the show that also might be possible.

And here I can even walk around wearing it off my belt...

The Walther would be excellent! Either that or a blank fire P0-8.
