Does anyone know if all wartime produced MG belts were Waffan Stamped?
Bought some belts recently, all sold as originial wartime manufacturer. Only half of them had waffen stamps and manufacturerer codes on the male tabs.
Think I've been sold a pup (or at least half of one).
Any information would be appreciated.

Re: MG Belt question
Cannot check right now, but as far as I know, there were many MG belts without a WAA

Re: MG Belt question
They were batch stamped, like one in every 20, 50, 100 or whatever. Ones with actual stamps on are obviously worth a bit more now but lack of stamps does not mean they are post-war, especially if they match the wartime ones in every detail. Post war types generally seem to be a slightly different colour, more grey than black, and the leader tab can have a different shape...
