Panzerschreck Sling

Post by valkyrie895 »

Gents,

Over the past year or so, I have been modifying and facelifting my unit's panzerschreck. Just about the last thing to do is the sling.
The slings that were issued with the Panzerschreck were the same as those on MG spare barrel carriers.
I really don't feel like spending 40+ dollars on a barrel carrier just for the strap.
Does anyone have a source for one of these, or have one kicking about they don't use?

The spare barrel strap would be to short for a panzerscheck. atthefront sell a strap for the german mgz-40 optics box
that is identical to the spare barrel strap but its longer and it has clips perfect for a panzerschreck sling

Panzerschreck slings didn't have clips, they had LUX fasteners.

That's through but length wise they are perfect for the sling and as I said the spare barrel strap is to short so the mgz 40 strap will be your best bet

Seeing as the lugs on the barrel carrier are the basically the same distance apart as those on the schreck, it will be fine.

I am a little too authenticity-minded to use a strap with clips on it.
