Schu-Mines were wooden, were they not? Do you want your mines to go bang? A friend of mine (and member on here) has made a quantity of wooden Schu-Mines which are pressure-operated, and set off a blank. He has also made a number of Tellermines (but in MDF), which are triggered either by tripwire, pressure on top, or reduced pressure below.

Wow Steiner, I didn't even think about ones that would work!
Sounds rather interesting. I'm actually looking for metal (preferably) tellermines & s-mines for display purposes.
U.S. WW2 training aids of the tellermines used to be available, but are now scarce and expensive. I just haven't seen any advertized for sale for quite some time.

Some info if anyone is intrested, this is posted to help forum users who were/are looking for
repro Tellermines, this company ive found makes them from wood/metal products, the
company is called "Relics" and seems to be a UK based company, they are priced between
£75-£78 depending on model (see below)

Thanks Pipes,
I believe I've looked at their website before....nice stuff. I've picked up a resin Bouncing Betty mine (cast from an original) which I repainted and it looks pretty authentic on display. I may have scored a WW2 US Army Training Tellermine from a buddy. Just working out the details.
Thanks for looking out for me.
