GERMAN BAYONET??

Post by FschJg_Heilmann »

I have a bayonet that has A.S.F on one side of the bolster and a serial number on the next 20641.. It does not have any tang stamp on the blade (possibly grinded off?). I was thinking about what the Russians did to the K98 when they captured them and crudely carved the serial number in the stock. I am thinking that this could possibly be a RC bayonet? Or does anyone know? I cant post pictures right now but I will later on today. I appreciate your help and advice!

I went to a antique store and bought mine for $25. Rather cheap but I have not the slightest clue as to what they are worth.

thank you. I only spent $25 and the guy had a lot more but was selling them as German bayonets. I think I will give him a little advice next time I see him.
