Fake?
Neither are fakes.
The question should be 'are they reich period manufacture?'
The Germans made bread bags long before and long after WW2, these are not fakes just not 'nazi'.
The second bag with brown leather, it has a divider in the bag? Almost certainly made Post war, but nice cloth. A thousand times better than most reproduction bags. If the money is right quite useable, no one need ever know about the divider....
The first one looks ok to me, it has all the features I look for. Without marks it is hard, because of the long period of manufacture, to be certain, any stamps on either of them?

I agree with Stig's assessment. 1st one appears correct, 2nd one is Post War but still pretty nice.

No the bags have no markings.I spent 100euros total on the bags. I was pretty sure#2 was post war the thing that is strange about the divider is that it appears to be an add on.The top of the bag and the inside divider show another color thread different from the rest of the construction. The divider is also sewn to the front of the bag. I think I will use this for my late war impression. The first bag will go into my collection. :D
Thanks for the feed back.

I live In the U.S. It's the same everywhere I would guess.I just got lucky on the price.
A friend told me he found 5 breadbag straps and War and peace for 5 pounds.
But I really don't know about the UK.These bags came out of Holland.

The usual price for a breadbag in the states is about $75 to $110 in fair shape in mint is pretty high.
Better get it while you can this stuff is really dryin up.
What are you looking? maybe I could help.
