Sorry for digging out that post, but maybe other US based member will answer: is it really possible to own firing MG-53 or MG-3 in US? How about other historical guns?
In NZ we are allowed everything. Its like being a UK sec 5 without any hassles.

and now that long nose privi blank is available in 54R i have my 1910 Maxim, DP28, and PKM machine guns running now
