Is anyone reproducing the white WH blankets anymore? The ones with the red and blue stripes on either side? Der Erste Zug used to make them, but they are all out and have been out for a while.

OSTFRONT used to make a good blanket. But, the germans used many varieties of blankets. You can get away with a postwar Czech (gray with a black stripe on each end) or a postwar Italian. I have some photos of German soldiers using italian blankets, and have handled an italian blanket with a period attached "Mottenecht durch EULAN" label that was applied pre 1945.SchutzeHagemann wrote:Is anyone reproducing the white WH blankets anymore?
