Well, as the K98 kits weren't invented til the 1930's, I'd guess yes. Don't know if they had the tobacco tin kits in WWI though, so I could be wrong.

thanks sam . its just i searched web for photos of g98 kit cant seem to find, just wondering if in the broad sense of the word if they are similar.
