Just pondering - What should I be paying for one in decent nick these days?
What about same pattern war dated Allied ones?
So many mad prices on US dealers websites I wondered what a decent realistic market price is for one.

Flipping jiggery....... I suppose they are nice, useable ones with no rust, mends, welds or holes.........
I thought the US prices were fantasy - but chuffing spiders.........

Yes, they were all very usable and pretty rust free but yes £80 for a can is a lot
Re: German Jerrycans
Prices must have shot up then, I bought these two not so long ago and they were around £30 each, I should have got more!

Re: German Jerrycans
I would of thought, depending on much original paint was left on them about £45 at a starting point, now if they were marked 'Wasser' then £80 would be about right as they are not as common as the petrol ones.John

Ah, indeed the ones I saw and in fact was looking for were Wasser ones.... hence the expense.
