You have the same personal Private Purchase Wash/Shoe kit I own. Is it complete? It looks it. Mine is complete both sides including combs. polish, brushes and soaps. It has a pebbled top and is marked "Lico" underneath is smooth and marked "D.R Patent, Auslandpatent"

A nice change from guns and badges I think......

Hello,
only fault the toohpaste, but the box is complete by the two sides (include the manual and the promotional poster). This box is the Mica version, not the Leico, and is great, really a nice change :)

Cheers buddy
Yeah i get a buzz out of finding this sort of gear, the actual portrayal you can only go so
far with uniforms and equipment as such but with personal equipment i decided to stretch
the limits further.

A good ref book for this type of thing is the "Deutche Soldaten" which i find pushes the
limits further in what your actual German Soldier carried in regards to personal kit, rather
than just your butterdish, spork and esbit cooker that was carried these other extra pieces
adds the cherry on the cake in regards to your portrayment.

Here's some pics of some recently aquired odds' n ends :D

An empty ceramic 1930's-40's "Bols" Dutch gin bottle i picked up on ebay for a few quid for
my "load-out", would love to get a label for this, if anyone could post one on here or even
better print one, would appreciate it

I saw one of the openers for sale and wanted it but passed. Guy wanted $200 usd..no way..way to much. In the us original stuff sells for stupid money. So for the time being i have a us p 38. An item i imagine a soldat may take of a body if he needed one...

The can opener i have is just a period ratchet type can opener and came off ebay,
i think i paid about £4.00 for it but i have seen exactly the same on dealer sites for
about £25-£30 so its wise to shop around, as i said if you know what to look for
and its the same then bingo lol.

The secret is get ref books, ive mentioned this before but the book "Deutche Soldaten" is
an absoloute must for this type of thing, it has helped me no end
