A labor of love indeed Volkspanzer. Many thanks for showing us your fine work. You've just raised the bar for all those repro builders out there!
How do you manage to reenact in Germany with the strict laws there?
Hello,
Please sorry for the late reply, but at the moment I have a lot of work.
Reenactment, i mean the portrayal of
German units from the 2nd World warin Germany, I think, we havn't..., Thats why we have to go for reenactment in our Neighbor Countries, like Belgium:
Here are some pictures from the first event in sharp shot (with blank cartridges

),I have been with my Sdkfz 247 B:
http://www.volkspanzer.com/Gallery/index.htmlWe have used an original MG 42, only the calibre was changed to 7,62 Nato. The speed was still the same as in 1942-1945, like :
rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr - and then this rain of empty cartridges.... madness

It was a resounding success. Many people could not believe that the vehicle is a complete rebuild.
Above all the detailed interior was highly praised.
And for the musical entertainment during the breaks was also provided with a hidden built CD player and music from this site:
