Averaging £15K for a restored roadworthy one....... Top price paid so far is £18K There is a rae one for sale (Assembled 1945 by British Army) for £13K I believe. A Kuebl is a good investmetn if properly researched and wisely bought. Looked after and maintained. Some folks however have been known to buy them and leave them to rot.

theres a Kubel in Norway for sale, but its in bits, £6000, its been partially restored, and everything is there, it needs reassembling, bit beyond me and my capabilities. But it would make a great restoration project. If anyone's interested I'll post a link, theres plenty of photos and a bit blurb!

i did hear of one for sale in Yorkshire. It's only a fibreglass one though, made for A Bridge too Far. I think he wanted 6k for it. Only problem is it's right hand drive and needs converting to left hand drive. I don't know how easy that is?

Easy enough to do - one of the guys in our unit had a plastic kubel from A Bridge Too Far and converted it. For £6k though, I'd expect it to need almost nothing doing to it. One other thing to bear in mind is that not all the repro or original kubel parts will fit a 'plastic fantastic'!

The going rate for a top notch, completely restored original is between about £12.5k and £15k at the moment. There are some cheaper ones out there, but you have to hunt! Having said that, an original 1944 kubel sold in the US a few days ago for US$1500.

This Kübel (from 1943) owns by one of our members and he etstimated the price to be about 13000£. I think this one is in very good condition.
