Hmm.. desperate and skint - sounds about right!

Will swap stug for Wanderer, NSU, Enfield, Landrover and half me uniforms.... will mean I have to drive to work by STUG though.... :twisted:

Finnish stugs Tell you what keep the kids and send me 37p i,ll keep visiting the Finnish tank museum and taking bits off the stugs and post them to you :D .We have 3 working stugs at the museum 2 in Finnish markings one in German will post the photos when I worked out how to do it

I think you can make a better StuG from a BMP-1. Here's a picture. No problems with getting the glacis plates right as there is no powertrain to get in the way, as is with the 432.

The only problem with using those is that the wheels are inheriently wrong - more so than the 432 type wheels.

I think it would be posssible to manufacture "covers" that could be affixed to the wheels to give the same "holed" appearance such was on the StuG. Duncan Nicholson over at http://www.tanksforsale.co.uk is more or less about to embark on this conversion

Are there any websites on the conversion process of British APC's into Stugs for Band of Brothers?

I amcurious as to how it was done. Incidentaly, the proportions on the stug look a little off, but then again, I am no armour expert.
