Thanks for the comments gents, it was such a relief to get it show ready, and after all that time, we were all very proud to watch it roll up the back of the transporters ready for our first display at Elvington Museum, we've been very busy since , so many projects, we've started work on the interior details, flare cartridge boxes, cleaning rod ends, accessories etc, only to be halted, damn those shows lol
Allans bought (another) diecast model of his 1.5tonne blitz trunk to remind him of the next project, the flat bed hardwood rear is finished, engine rebuild, and drivers cab to start next, thank god for those long winters, gives us plenty of time.
The next confirmed outing for the Marder is Elsecar Railway 2nd/3rd Sept (Allan been an avid fan of all steam related events) if your in the area pop over for a natter, the password is "its thingy off the best axis forums" an ill show you round.
theres a very slim chance it will be going the the Sheffield Show, but well need some live rounds to keep the yobs off

Excellent resourse on all types:Pirkka wrote:Don't worry, it's a mistake that anyone could make. At least you aren't suggesting how to convert Granny's old combo into one...SS-Schutze Schuller wrote:Oh whoops, my mistake, it is a MK III
Was the Marder III the one that looks approx. the same shape as a Wespe?
