Post by ss-commander smeders »

a group are making ME 262's and so far plane #1 and #2 are complete and #3 is ready for a test flight and all this in about 4 years! so if a reenactment group got alot of cash and a deal with a company (you could do it with no company backing!), tanks could be made and sold to collecters or reenacters! :D :D :D :D

Even the biggest reenactment groups have trouble raising enough cash to keep there heads above water, what with insurance, vehicle running costs etc... and you think they have the moolah to splash out on a Panzer Korps... go and wash your face in cold water and have a drink of milk... calm down.

To quote from the Warbirds website "The baseline figure for purchase of a completed aircframe (less engines and avionics) is USD 2,000,000.00."

So thats 1 million pounds just for the shell - no working bits... and you have how much?????

I think you woul be best to invest in a small original vehicle, maybe a dog cart or something....then again I'm not sure your licenced to drive one of them yet are you?
