Guys,

Just picked this up from restoration shop.

Owned by my good friend Gerard Prime in Hong Kong. Maintained by moi here in the UK, and will be on display at IWM Duxford after Beltring.

Les,

Very Likely as Gerards father (Harry) looks after Frontline figures in the UK. Gerards business is toy soldiers for collectors (Frontline Figures and Prime models). He lives and works in Hong Kong, but his vehicle collection is here in the UK.

I tried to "just add water" to the toy one I have, hoping it was only dehydrated, but it never did develop into a full size one   My action figures are quite pleased with it though...

Kettengrad

Post by pzrwest »

I had the chance to see a real kettengrad at place in Ontario Canada in a small town of Limehouse. A guy named Frank Grant had a modest colledtion of vehicles. He had a kettengrad in dunklegrau, a cpl kublewagons. a cpl motorcycles with side cars, a war time bug in panzer yellow, plus a few allied pieces. What ever became of him I don't don't know. He also sold ww2 militaria but was a bit shady in that area I got burned once and that was enough.

Yes, I can't wait to take the first post restoration ride on my NSU, bit smaller than that one but the feelings much the same I'm sure... Gerard better have a doctor handy incase the smile splits his face in two! :D

It does look fantastic.

I must admit to a Kettenkrad fetish bordering in insanity...if only those 6 numbers would come up or that much better job...
