Yep - it's a genetically engineered Kettenkrad recreated from a single link of track!!! (The Pterodactyl was just for practise, they didn't get it quite right as it croaks the Panzerleid all night...)

Dave,

Long time no see, I see you have been busy scooping up R75 bits etc on Epray.

I have some R75 engine/gearbox internals for sale if needed.

OK I do get to play with it, but its not mine.

I found it 5 years ago in Vienna along with the Steyr 1500, but when I was close to buying it the dot com bubble burst and I got made redundant. Had to sell my R75 and KS750 just to pay the mortgage.

Gerard stepped in and picked them up, and has put a lot into getting them restored.

I still hope to get my own one day, but this will do for now...............

BTW.

The "Pterodactyl" is in fact a bird of prey shape window sticker to help stop wild birds flying into the window!

as a chap came up to me who's son had a lot of vehicles in hong kong
Les,

Very Likely as Gerards father (Harry) looks after Frontline figures in the UK. Gerards business is toy soldiers for collectors (Frontline Figures and Prime models). He lives and works in Hong Kong, but his vehicle collection is here in the UK.

David
