There was this one:

Basically anti-freeze filled/anti-freeze drained. They had a bit of string through the holes and were supposed to either be hung over then end of the radiator cap or tied to the steering wheel.

Not much use on a bike, however!!

I have seen, what I presume to be a field made sign as it was hand written on a piece of wood, put on the front of a vehicle which just said do not drive.

I'll see if I can find the picture.

Yep, there is one, I have a repro one at home, says Nicht Fahrbereit in red on one side and Fahrbereit on the other in black....

I'll take a picture later when I get home.

Every Krad should have one... :)

funny if a person trys to use it and they dont understand the sign, kaboom!, funny, except for the senseless mindless murder of good ww2 stuff!

It's not usually good form to walk up to somebody elses vehicle and try and drive it off, especially if there working on it at the time.... it's just not cricket old bean. :)

And can lead to a bloody nose/empty wallet. :wink:

there are people out there who would do it, of course if i owned a military verchicle and some wee scrotum touched it, id take my kar98 butt to him or batoynet

Ahhh, sounds like your in the 'Race to Beltring' like me then, sooo much to do on my bike, sooo little time/cash. I think I'll be using my sign as well! :)
