paint
What are you going to paint that needs to be petrol proof? You know how many tins it would take to paint a panzer III? or even a kublewagon?
paint
It should be petrol proof for spillages across it because it`s air dried rather than a chemical based reaction. If it was thinnners based it would be what is called a convertible paint and could be "re-activated" with thinners etc.Humbrol is usually white spirt based.
Hope this helps...Of course if you dip it in petrol etc for long it will come off...allow 3 weeks for it to dry properly.

Keith
