as it says a my helmet's a 61 shell and the mesurement head size is ment to be 54cm (shurly not) wouldnt it be more like a 55cm or 56cm, because they have the ment to be size and the actual size

its a sin , a spansh converted helmet , i mesured round the liner holes and it came out as 61cm excactly

well i got the liner of sof and its a 61 , they have probebly been reffiting spanish shells , i fit a 55cm beret
heres the lid (the wire has been removed since)

Hang on - Is the liner a 61 ? because a 61 liner fits in a 68 shell, not a 61 shell or do you mean you ordered a liner to go in a 61 shell ?

well I think your just gonna have to suck it and see. wait till it arives and see if it fits either your head / the helmet / or both.
generally you can get away with more than one hat size - I happily fit a 59 or 60 - so either a 66 or 68 shell.

Seeing as you only need a small size - German shells aint that expensive in your size. then you wont have to be ready with the excuses

Hat makers dont always size acurately - and they can be stretched and shrunk. measure your head.
