Only the M40 is replicated.
The Sturm ones are very decent.

Not only is the M40 being reproduced, the M35 seems to be as well.
If you don't want a repro though, the Norwegians still seem to have a shedload of German made helmets at their disposal, I got myself a M42 in Co.Durham for £30 which I thought wasn't a bad price.

There's a guy on ebay does the M42 as well as the M35, plus the FJ lid and WWI helmets too:

Been thinking about getting one of these M40 or M42 lids. Made in India and have heard the FJ shells are quite could but the liners could do with replacing. Only problem is they only come in one size...Large. All right for some but not so good if your head is a little on the small side.

Would love to know where to pick up an M42 for £30.00

It'll cost you more than 30 quid, but Vit Zemanek on eBay sells original German re-issue black shells and the M42s are the cheapest- good range of sizes and ORIGINAL. Continental Militaria is his eBay shop.

Got 9 helmets, all based on original shells...It's really nice to live in a former occupied country :D

Best purchase must be one of my M40 with original intact liner still in place for 50£.
