Guys, i woud like to know what is the proper collor for M 42 SS helmet, did Waffen SS originaly use only dark grey or also dark green collor ?

I have heard that helmets produced for Waffen SS were painted primarly with dark grey collor !!!

Please help out with thise one !

Ral 6006 (gray green) was the dominant colour on M42 shells.
