No, M40.
He last had an M35 in size 60 at the end of October, beginning of November.

Re: Show off your reenactment helmets!
Out of intrest is there many pics of the chicken wire net being worn by SS
I have found a couple but these are SS-Hitlerjugend members in Normandy,
I did read though that these nets weren't worn in Russia anyway due to the fact
there was no chicken wire available as troops used local product sources ??
This netting wasn't found very frequently in the Soviet at that time but found more
in Europe apparantly ???

Here are a pic of my two helmets. Firstly a Heer single decal M35 helmet. Shell size 68. Then my M42 helmet with no decal. Shell size 66. I'm pretty satisfied with the result, the guy who made the paint job is really good! Both in feldgrau since I like that color the most
Re: Show off your reenactment helmets!
Added FJ-Werke.com liner, bolts and straps to my setup.
Excuse my poor photos.

Not a single post for a month? Time to bring this section back to life!
Here's a ckl66 M42 i recently repainted for a fellow group member. Slate gray with texture.
My new helmet cover on one of my own M42's (NS66)
I also wrote my name in it, i copied the style from an original helmet.
Sorry for the bad image quality, using my phone..
Let's see some more helmets!

Re: Show off your reenactment helmets!
Nice lids mate, although one comment, i tried to "convert" one of those Post War nets myself by dyeing it brown
and replacing the hooks but apparantly according to others on here they are wrong??
If you look back at this thread you will find it somewhere, apparantly people can tell it is a Post-War net as they
look different to the War time type, thats why i binned mine and made a chicken wire net instead, hope this
helps,
