Helmet find

Post by LuftwaffeFD »

Hello chaps, picked this up at my local boot sale. Just wondering if anyone could shed some light on it? No markings or stampings on the helmet or liner but there is evidence of a painted 3 digit serial number on the inner rim. Liner is made of leather and canvas. There is a loop spot welded on the front also, I have seen this style of loop on miners helmets in the past.

Cheers in advance,

Spanish. The bit of metal on the front is for putting a badge on it for parades. Based on the german style pot, but no good for german reenactment, as it's just not close enough.
