My thought was that I'd use a camo lid cover for eastern front,and remove it for western front..I know the Russians routinely shot at Sanis because they weren't active participants in the Geneva convention. I'm still kinda undecided though..I like how this looks as is.

A price update on these M40/55 stahlhelms. IMA dropped the price on these to $55.00 from $89.00. That's a great price if you don't mind doing some work to strip,paint,and reline them...bummed me out when I saw it lol..wish I got mine for that price...but be aware,some of these were drilled to except the Finnish liners! Pay the extra ten for hand picked and specify undrilled.
