I just found this kind of wire. Could it pass as period model? Also, did Germans darken the wires by any way, like painting? It shines very brightly, so it's a big camouflage flop, if foliage isnt on it 24/7.

that wire is ok. to get rid of the shine light a fire and put the wire into the flames for a few minute
