a craftsman can fill up the 'loch' and you have created your own 'm45' :?
I don't trust the liner also.
On picture it's hard to see if the paint is original.
You get a real clue if you have it in your hands.

Dud liner, chinstrap and I am not a fan of the split pins either. As for the helmet itself not having seen many of the m45 they are rather dubious as nobody actually knows if it was an official model or not. Best leave this one alone.
