Hello,
check this my simple tutorial to restore and refurbish a German helmet for a Reenactor use. A M42 camo Italian/French front.

Hi nice restore! But this is not really a tutorial but understand that language could be the issue, so once again nice helmet restore!

Why did you use glue? I have great result by mixing it withe paint, or spraying a heavy layer of paint and then using that as the "glue".

Nice guide !

I just bought a original M40 shell and will paint it in RAL7016 "Anthrazitgrau".

Are you doing a luftwaffe impression?because that is the number for a Luftwaffe helmet.
If you doing a w.ss or heer impression better to paint in ral6006 with aluminum texture.
